MEET MACK “THE BULLDOG” CUMMINGS
Mack Cummings earned the nickname “The Bulldog” because of his loyalty, determination, and refusal to quit when things become difficult. Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, Mack spent years playing bass with country and Southern rock groups throughout West Tennessee. Luke had worked with him previously and recommended him when 18 Gears needed someone who could give the music a strong and dependable foundation. From the first rehearsal, Mack understood the weight and steady movement the songs needed. His bass became the connection between the rhythm, Luke’s instruments, Riley’s musical textures, and the voices of Greg and Kacey. Mack is the dependable backbone of the group. He may not always be the loudest member in the room, but he is usually the one making sure everyone arrives prepared and the music stays together. Hometown: Jackson, Tennessee Role: Bass guitarist and backing vocalist Signature Sound: Deep, steady bass lines that give 18 Gears its muscle and forward momentum.
